really spot on, good toning. I've tried this sort of thing myself just a low key attempt on audicity.. lets just say i put an axe through the back of its head, wrapped it up in a sheet, put it in the boot of my car and ghostied it off a cliff edge :)
i think you got all of the basic sound going, could definitely tell what it was. perhaps the sound that could help fill that emptiness you mention is the Egyptian high pitched trumpety flute majigga thing.. that sorta thing carried alot of life to the song in the game and i know its tricky to get a mouth trumpet as on pitch as just humming but give it a go anyways. its also a very bouncy springy song.
banjo kazooie is my second favorite game of all time(1st place to Zelda :ocarina of time).... good old N64,that was a gaming system you could grow up with, consoles have just lost the plot now days. its all bout graphics and 'bad ass manovering' and its lost that spark those games had they created a vibe around you, a rainbow in your heart as you donned the bear and bird. I kid i kid! but really games arent the same now. good on you for sticking with them

My N64 is my best friend, as are the cartrigdes I shove inito it, sure some of the games are rediculously bad (Superman, TopGear rally) But for some reason, those bad games have now become a novalty to me. I can attempt to play through them, whereas before, when I bought them and felt somewhat ripped off I would just throw the cartridge aside and play BK. I think the reason that we like the N64s games is the fact that they where new, they where the begining of what we call "modern gaming", Sure the new zeldas are good, but they don't compare to the origional 3Ds because its been done before, and by god it was done perfectly. Now with this new technology games companys have to do more and more to create what was essentually there all along. So it gets harder and harder to make a game that is simple and just works. Ok, you may have coninced me to turn that bad boy on this evening.
Righto, as for the singing part. For some reason that i cannot remember I seem to have it in my head that I am to remake this song, so that fits in with 'your request'. I feel I have gotten better since I made this so I shal give it a half decent shot. The trumpet is quite high and thats the reason it was not done :P, my forsetto is somewhat to be desired. But if you wish to help out I am happy to include you, Ill pop you a PM incase you dont read this :P. But yeah, essentually you can take part, or just tell me that my trumpet is bad and should be redone until it becomes of such quality that the king would eat it for breakfast. Thanks for the review, It has certainly given me somthing do to before school this morning. :P

good job with this man. what i like here is that you actually vocaly got the tune right... sick of hearing tone deaf people hum or what ever you would call one of these and their just doin the same tone the whole time or missing it by a few levels pitches give or take. 5 points for not being tone deaf another 5 for doin the song well dude.

Thanks, I loved this game and this level. Remembering a song isnt too hard in my opinion, especially as when I was 8 playing this game was the best thing ever, still is!
